5* Indigo Bali Seminyak

We arrived in Bali on a direct flight with Garuda Indonesia who were very nice to fly with. Our hotel was a short drive from the airport and we arrived to a warm welcome and a stunning open air lobby. The hotel, decorated in Balinese style, is one of my favourite hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. With four incredible pools, 6 restaurants, a unique tree bar and a chill out bar at the beach, where we experienced some incredible sunsets, it really was a dream come through.

Our room was beautifully decorated, I had an amazing massage in the spa and I loved that everything was right on our doorstep. We could walk to a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants – the choice was excellent and endless. I picked up lots of clothes and souvenirs and there was a great selection of hairdressers and beauty salons with very reasonable prices.

We spent a week here and while I would have happily spent the whole time in the hotel it was a great base for exploring the island. We took a sunrise jeep tour where we visited hot springs, swam with manta rays, visited the monkey forest and the rice terraces of Ubud.
