I felt so fortunate to be invited by Silversea to board to Silver Ray in Athens for a fabulous cruise. Guest suites are concentrated across four levels of the middle of the ship, while public areas like bars, restaurants, the pool, observation lounge and theatre are on the top and lower levels. The décor has a modern, fresh aesthetic, feeling more like a contemporary luxury hotel than a cruise ship.
My time on board Silver Ray in the Greek Isles was out of this world – It is very quite clear why Silversea have one of the best reputations around for ultra luxury cruising. Everything was perfect from the food, the wine, the amenities, the service and the staff who couldn’t do enough to make your stay amazing. It really blew me away. They quickly learn your name and your preference to take the personal service to a whole other level.
