Stopping in Dubai

It may be a little like eating marmite (i.e. not for everyone!) but Dubai is a place that has really grown on me over the years having stopped there multiple times to visit friends while on the way to further shores!

Whether it's going to the UAE for your whole trip or if time permits when travelling to somewhere east with Emirates, it’s a really fun destination!

I've stayed at the iconic Atlantis, The Palm three times (our first was on the way home from Thailand where I'd just got engaged!!). It does not disappoint, the building and lobby are awesome at first sight and with complimentary entry included into Aquaventure Waterpark, the best waterpark I’ve ever been to, we were in (big kid) heaven. Their half board is brilliant value too with some stunning restaurants included.

Next door, the new Atlantis, The Royal is opened now, too. I've been lucky to stay at a handful of different hotels such as The Address, Shangri La (and even some budget options too like Rove Downtown and JA Ocean View).

Dubai has so much to do - from souks to sand dunes, shopping to super luxurious hotels. The dining scene is so good where every world cuisine can be found.

Plus, you can also explore some of the other emirates such as Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman and even Oman. Plus, there are some gorgeous desert hotels for a two centre trip too.

Don’t hesitate to contact me for all things Dubai!
