Embark on a West Coast adventure. From the iconic hills of San Francisco to the sun-soaked beaches of Los Angeles and the vibrant lights of Las Vegas, this journey blends scenic drives, city exploration, and unforgettable experiences along America’s stunning Pacific coast.
Included in this itinerary:
Three nights in San Francisco, one night along Highway 1, two nights in Santa Barbara, two nights in Los Angeles, and four nights in Las Vegas. Car hire from San Francisco to Los Angeles, all flights, and transfers included.
Day 1: Arrive in San Francisco
Touch down in San Francisco and check into your hotel. Spend your evening strolling along Fisherman’s Wharf, enjoying fresh seafood, and soaking in views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Day 2: Explore San Francisco
Discover the city’s iconic landmarks—ride a cable car to Lombard Street, visit Chinatown, and take in panoramic views from Twin Peaks. Don’t miss a sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge for the perfect photo op.
Day 3: More San Francisco Charm
Explore Alcatraz Island, shop at Union Square, and wander through Golden Gate Park. In the evening, dine at one of the city’s top restaurants before preparing for your road trip.
Day 4: Drive the Pacific Coast Highway
Pick up your rental car and embark on the scenic drive down Highway 1. Marvel at the dramatic cliffs of Big Sur and stop for photos along the way. Spend the night in a charming coastal town along the route.
Day 5: Santa Barbara
Continue your drive to Santa Barbara, where Mediterranean-style architecture meets beautiful beaches. Stroll along Stearns Wharf, visit local wineries, and relax by the ocean.
Day 6: Santa Barbara to Los Angeles
Head to Los Angeles, taking in the coastal views as you go. Check into your hotel, then explore the vibrant neighbourhoods of Venice Beach and Santa Monica.
Day 7: Discover Los Angeles
Visit iconic spots like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, and Rodeo Drive. Enjoy a sunset at Malibu Beach or catch a show at the Hollywood Bowl.
Day 8: Fly to Las Vegas
Drop off your rental car in Los Angeles and catch a quick flight to Las Vegas. Check into your hotel on the famous Strip and dive into the city’s dazzling nightlife.
Day 9: Las Vegas Highlights
Spend your day exploring the Strip’s iconic casinos, hotels, and shows. Take a gondola ride at The Venetian, see the Bellagio fountains, and try your luck at the tables.
Day 10: Adventure or Relaxation
Choose between a day trip to the Grand Canyon or relaxing at your hotel’s pool. In the evening, enjoy a world-class show or dine at a celebrity chef’s restaurant.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home, ending your unforgettable West Coast journey.
