Hi, my name is Catherine and travel has always been a huge passion of mine, something I’ve been involved in for a long time.I lived and worked in Australia for a year with a trip to New Zealand’s North and South Island on the way home. I made stops in Taiwan and Thailand, where I visited Chiang Mai in the north and the southern islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. This was such an amazing adventure and Australia to this day is one of my favourite countries.Follow that adventure, I lived in South America for 3 and a half years visiting Venezuela and Brazil. Here I saw the highest waterfall in the world (Angel Falls) and the Caribbean islands of Los Roques and Margarita Island. On to Brazil I took a trip to Rio de Janeiro for those picture-perfect views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer. While there we stopped at Paraty and a beautiful island Ilha Grandhe, which I would highly recommend. Other places I have visited more recently include USA and Mexico with plans to go to see the pyramids in Egypt and the beautiful Santorini in Greece in the near future. In my mid-twenties I took a career break and travelled to Australia stopping off in Thailand, Bangkok and its beautiful Islands of Koh Samui and Phuket. This didn’t stop my love for travel, and I continued to get away as much as I could taking trips to New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco which included a road trip to LA stopping along the way in Yosemite and Santa Barbara. There were also a couple of trips to Florida to sample the delights of Disneyland with Miami and Clearwater added in. A lot of these trips were taken with my husband. When my two daughters came along travel didn’t stop but it became more family orientated and we took beach holidays in France, Spain and Portugal. We got a little more adventurous as the girls grew and when they were 7 and 4 years of age, we took them on a Caribbean Cruise and to Mexico.
